Oxford Woodwork

What We Do

I am a carpenter / woodworker and I undertake any job however big or small. I make all types of bespoke furniture such as tables and chairs, outdoor swings and benches. Particularly popular amongst clients are fitted units - cabinets, wardrobes, cupboards, shelving, etc. I also undertake general woodwork, fitting skirting boards, covering pipes, fitting locks etc. I also hang doors, lay floors, staircases and fit kitchens.

On a larger scale I have turned loft spaces into a usable work space allowing clients to gain additional space at a minimal cost, examples of such work can be seen in the gallery.

We can also turn any alcove into a usable space, be that with the addition of custom shelves, bookcases or a desk unit etc,

I also undertake outdoor work be it putting up a fence making a gate, or simply doing a repair - no job is too small.

I am always happy to visit you and give a quote for any work you might like to be done. It is my policy to complete any job within a two week period from the time I receive a deposit.

I am happy to follow any plans you may have or can design according to your specifications.

I work both in wood and in MDF. The latter is slightly cheaper and is popular with those customers who want to paint their item.

The wood I work with mostly is pine as it is cheaper than other types but am happy to work with other types at the customer’s request.
